Dude gets $100 million for screwing his pal's wife. Revolting.

Nah, he gets it because a slimy ass site full of a bunch of self richeous New York dickheads posted a video of it and invaded the shit outta his privacy, while talking about how awful it is to do when it happened to people they liked at the moment, not to mention outing non public personalities because he failed to give some some mentally unstable prostitite blackmail money.

Yes, but screwing your BF’s — or anyone’s — wife is not okay either and even if Hulk Hogan enjoys the money, all the embarrassment and misery are poetic justice.
The existence of Oppo in the Gawker space is a supreme irony.

Umm... he did it with her and her husband’s consent; there’s no ‘gotcha’ moment here.

I’d say Gawker provided the ‘gotcha’ moment, though doing so is proving costly. You seem to be following the story more closely than I am. Expensive click bait that was, wasn’t it?

I haven’t followed the trial at all but have been around Jalopnik for a good number of years and remember the article (and the video) when it came out. It’s pretty much an open/shut case of personal privacy; Gawker was crucified when AJ posted it and now they’ll have to pay for it.

I wouldn’t miss Gawker, any of it, at all, except for Oppo. And I’d miss Oppo very much.
